Welcome to Woollahra Dental and Wellness Centre. Run by Dr Angelo Preketes we are a boutique, family orientated practice. Our experience, dedication and commitment to exceptional quality draws patients from Woollahra, the Eastern Suburbs and internationally. Your experience is our top priority and we endeavour to develop strong relationships with all our patients to ensure your visits are comfortable, relaxing and a positive experience.
In this pursuit of comfort, Dr Preketes has developed techniques to effectively address dental phobias and anxiety. Upon entering our stylish, modern surgery our patients are warmly greeted by a member of our friendly team.
Dr Preketes offers a complete range of services from general dentistry, through implants and paediatric dentistry. Furthermore, as a member of a multitude of dental associations our procedures, techniques and technology are continuously being re-evaluated and developed to ensure we remain at the forefront of quality dentistry.
Dentist Profiles
Dr Angelo G. Preketes
Graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from The University of Sydney, Angelo immediately moved into private practice. Then, after a period of teaching at the United Dental Hospital, he decided to pursue further educational opportunities. From 1998-2004 he obtained a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry at The University of Sydney in the areas of oral implants and conscious sedation and pain control. This gave him the specialist insight into catering for anxious patients. To ensure he remains abreast of current procedures and techniques, Angelo is a member of a variety of dental associations and institutions both nationally and internationally including - American Society of Aesthetic Dentistry, Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Dental Anaesthetists, Australian Society of Periodontology, Australian Society of Endodontics and Australian Osseointegration Society.
Dr Preketes also sits in the Dental Practice Committee and the Infection Control Committee for the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
In 2006, Dr Angelo Preketes decided to open his boutique Woollahra Dental Practice to provide a quality services and exceptional patient experience with a child friendly, family focus.
