Dr Mario Garita
Dr Mario Garita (Practice Principal)
Dr Mario Garita obtained his dental degree from theUniversity of Melbourne in 1983 and has been practicing at the VRDG ever since. Further training and education saw him obtain his Masters degree in 1991 and a fellowship of the FICCDE in 2003 in the area of orthodontics in general Practice. He has been principal dentist at the Victoria Road Dental Group since 1998. His passion is preventative dentistry and orthodontics and has made extensive use of Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapists to achieve excellence in preventative dentistry.

Dr Garita’s high standards, without the need for patients to visit our specialist collegues unless absolutely necessary.
Dr Garita’s other passion is for the development of dental assistant training and has been running a dental school for dental assistants in
Clayton since 2003. Our dental assistants are amongst the best trained assistants in the industry as a result.
