Dentist profiles
Dr Saud Ibrahim
Dr Saud Ibrahim graduated in 1989 from the School of Dentistry at Baghdad University, Iraq. He completed his Masters Degree in Conservative Dentistry also at Baghdad University in 1996 with distinction. Ibrahim migrated to New Zealand with his family in 1997 to Auckland. In 1999 he sat his New Zealand exams and gained his New Zealand Dental Registration. Following this he relocated to Hamilton where he has practiced in private general practice since. In 2005 he completed his Post Graduate Diploma through Sydney University in Oral Implants. Dr Saud Ibrahim’s main interest is Cosmetic dentistry and Implant placement to restore missing teeth. He also enjoys full mouth rehabilitation where there are multiple broken teeth due to Bruxism (grinding) and large old fillings, restoring with crown/bridgework and composite restoration to achieve a healthy and stable bite. Ibrahim has a lot of experience doing surgical extractions of wisdom teeth both under local anaesthetic and intravenous sedation. He attends as many courses as possible for continuing education to be up to date with the current techniques and equipment to enable him to provide the best treatment for all his patients. He is currently doing Dysport (Anti Aging Therapy) and wrinkle reduction treatment. He is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontic Society and the Australian Osseintegration Society.
