Townsville Dentist

Dr Robert Saltmiras was born and educated in Sydney where he graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1984. Since graduating Robert has travelled and worked through out both Australia and the UK. In 2004 Robert and his family settled in Townsville and opened my.dentist.nq.

Rob’s ambition to provide his patients with the best service and results possible has built my.dentist.nq as a successful practice.

While Rob enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Cerec applications, Crowns, Bridges and Restorative procedures especially total makeovers.

Rob loves to learn and is continually furthering his education both dentally and in other fields. Rob has a Graduate Certificate in Arts and is currently studying for both his MBA and MRACDS.

As much as Dr. Saltmiras enjoys dentistry, he also believes there is more to life and enjoys spending time with his wife Pip, 3 children (Jack, Jenny and Madeline), and 2 poodles.

Robert is involved in a number of organizations and is currently a volunteer with the State Emergency Service as well as an active member of his local Calvary Church. Robert enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports such as cycling, squash, gym, Tai Kwan Do and Target shooting.

Dr Craig Gove graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Dundee (Scotland) in 2004. Craig worked in Edinburgh for a number of years before coming to Australia in 2008. Since coming to Australia Craig has been a valued team member at my.dentist.nq.

Craig feels it is especially rewarding turning a nervous patient into a regular attendee. He believes in offering all of his patients personalized care and takes the time to form relationships with his patients so that they feel very comfortable coming in. Craig is extremely popular with both new and existing patients at my.dentist.nq for his very calm and gentle chair side manner.

Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in dentistry is essential to Dr Gove’s personal and professional success. He maintains membership in the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and regularly attends courses on the latest techniques and materials.

Craig has a passion for playing hockey and since being in Townsville has become a loyal player at the local Parks Hockey Club. Craig is a HUGE soccer fan and is a supporter of the Glasgow Rangers and the local NQ Fury. In his spare time he enjoys attending the NQ Fury’s home games at Diary Farmers stadium. Craig also attends the V8’s both locally here in Townsville and the Gold Coast and his favourite team is Holden Vodafone.

Dr Amarjot Gill or Kiki as she prefers to be known graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Kiki has also completed a Certificate in Oral Health at La Trobe University (Vic).

Prior to coming to Townsville Kiki worked in Rosebud (VIC) and Port Douglas (QLD). Dr Gill is very appealing to her patients at my.dentist.nq for her easy to understand manner. Kiki works most Saturdays at the practice which is very convenient for patients who can not attend an appointment during a normal working week.

Kiki prefers to keep it simple and enjoys working mainly on Cosmetic and Restorative cases. Kiki stays well informed with the latest procedures by regularly attending courses to further her education.

In her free time Kiki enjoys reading a good book and learning new languages. Kiki along with her husband also loves to travel.
