Dentist profiles
Dr Caroline Downing
Dr Caroline Downing graduated with a bachelor of dentistry from Sydney University in 1987. She has worked as a dentist in Neutral Bay for over 20 years. Dr Downing and Dr Morris have owned this practice for the last 18 years. Dr Downing is committed to post graduate education and has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and problems associated with the jaw joint. She is experienced in the use of many relaxation techniques. With her calm gentle touch she is able to keep in tune with her patients needs and wishes while informing them of all the exciting treatment options available in dentistry today. Dr Downing has four sons and is a director of a synergistic online business – www.dentalcareproducts.com.au. She enjoys tennis and football(soccer) in her spare time.
Dr Craig Morris
Dr Craig Morris graduated in 1985 from Sydney University. He has worked in Westmead Hospital & in private practice in Macquarie Strees & Bondi Junction. He has owned & worked in a full time capacity in our Neutral bay practice since 1990, constructing new state of the art surgery premises in the present location in 2003. Dr Morris has carried out & continues to attend numerous postgraduate courses, & has completed his qualifications as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS). Dr Morris is experienced in all aspects of dentistry but has particular interest in the areas of dental implants & complex dental/cosmetic reconstruction.
Dr Morris is married to Dr Downing & they have four growing boys. In his spare time he is very involved in the management & coaching of his sons soccer teams, & on occasion plays the odd game or two in his own team.
Dr Jon Taratoris
Dr Jon Taratoris graduated at Sydney University in 1987, receiving several faculty awards along the way, including the Dental Alumni Society medal. He worked in private practice and developed an interest in orthodontics and implants which took him to London. There he worked and owned some of the finest practices for six years. Jon has now been in Neutral Bay for ten years, and became part owner eight years ago. He took time out for many years teaching final year students at Westmead hospital. Jon has now been involved with implant surgery for over twenty years. He has a son called Connor who goes to Neutral Bay Primary. Jon’s favourite pastimes are cricket and tennis.
