Practice Philosophy
Dr Marshall provides what they call “Hi touch – Hi tech” orthodontic treatment.
‘Hi touch’ refers to their personal care and concern for their patients’ individual needs. ‘Hi tech’ utilises the best available technical developments in treatment, so patients can enjoy excellent outcomes with shorter treatment times and optimum comfort.
Dr Marshall’s aim is to create the best possible facial aesthetics, function and smile according to the patient’s needs.
For that reason, Dr Marshall prefers to assess children at eight years old, when they can see the ‘blueprint’ of their facial development and therefore plan the treatment at the appropriate age.

Dr Ken Marshall
Dr Marshall has practised as a specialist orthodontist for many years and as a result enjoys extensive clinical experience.
After attending North Sydney Boys High School, Dr Marshall completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree at Sydney University with a Commonwealth Scholarship. He then practiced as a dentist in North Sydney for some years before completing a Masters degree in Orthodontics at Sydney University, which requires both intensive clinical studies and research.
Dr Marshall’s special interest in facial growth led him to complete a further specialist degree in orthodontics at the Oregon Health Sciences University. This faculty is an integrated medical, dental and nursing school with an outstanding international reputation for clinical excellence.
Dr Marshall teaches in the graduate orthodontic department at Sydney University and has received several prestigious clinical awards from his professional peer group.
