Practice Philosophy
Kensington Dental strives to deliver to their patients the highest quality dental care in a warm, relaxed and friendly environment. Kensington Dental emphasis is on preventative treatment where the dentist, patient and hygienist work together to formulate a personalised plan to implement optimal oral health.
Patients are reminded that they need to regularly maintain their own oral health. Combining brushing, flossing, balanced diet and regular check ups from Kensington Dentals hygienist and dentists will enable optimal oral health.
Kensington Dental also seeks to restore good tooth function by using a combination of restorations from tooth coloured composites, CEREC, veneers through to implants, crowns and bridges. Dr Varvaressos formulates full orthodontic plans using plates, braces and invisalign.
Dentist Profiles
Dr Adrian Courtenay Practice Principal
Dr Adrian Courtenay completed his BDS at Sydney University in Dec 1981 and proceeded to work at Kensington Dental since 1982. At this time Dr Courtenay also worked part time at Maroubra Junction for six years.
Kensington Dental practice was originally run by Dr John Reeve and Dr Bruce Donaldson since the 1950’s. By working with a range of good operators and years of going to dental lectures and courses Dr Courtenay has developed a range of skills. Dr Courtenay took over the practice in 1988 and has since established a successful family practice providing their patients the best possible care. The backbone of the practice is the friendly and committed staff.
