Brisbane Dentist

Malcolm has been practicing dentistry for 27 years and is the principal of Face Value Dental. Dr Malcolm Duff graduated in Glasgow in 1980 and has undertaken additional specialist qualifications in general dental surgery and has been an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow for many years. Malcolm is especially interested in restorative and reconstructive dentistry, implant technology and ceramic applications.

Dr Keith Doonan received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1993 from the Royal London Hospital School where he graduated as the Dental Society President. Dr Doonan later recieved his Masters in Prosthodontics with Merit from Kings College London. He has made a number of educational clinical videos for Kings College London. Dr Doonan also gives lectures on dental implants and Cerec 3D technology and is a lecturer and clinical demonstrator for the Queensland Dental School. Keith is also involved in implant research at the Queensland Dental School. His practice is focused on advanced Prosthodontics and implant surgery.
Keith is also a keen actor, husband and father of three.

Dr Alison Dellar qualified in Glasgow, Scotland in 1999 with a distinction in Oral Medicine/Oral Surgery. Dr Dellar then worked in private practice in England before migrating to Australia in 2005 when she joined Face Value Dental. Dr Dellar enjoys all aspects of general dentistry including cosmetics, root canal treatment and crown and bridge, always making her patients feel at ease and answering any questions they may have. Alison keeps up to date with new developments, attending educational seminars regularly. She also acted as convener and secretary for Peer Review and Audit groups.

Dr Maria Giles is an overseas trained dentist who successfully passed the Australian Dental Council examinations in 2006 allowing full recognition in Australia. Dr Giles has been practicing at Face Value Dental since February 2007. Before coming to Australia she was practicing in Colombia as a general dental practitioner. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and regularly attends courses to keep up to date on the latest techniques. Maria speaks Spanish and is more than happy to treat those from Spanish speaking community. Maria works most Saturdays at the practice, which is convenient for people who cannot attend an appointment during a normal working week. Maria enjoys going to the gym and jogging, she also likes embroidery and hand craft.

George Graduated from the University of QLD in 1970. He is very experienced in all aspects of Dentistry, but is especially interested in cosmetic Dentistry (he feels anyone can have a Hollywood smile). He is also very experienced in removing wisdom teeth. George’s greatest strength is he is down to earth, will make you feel at ease and explain to you clearly what treatment needs doing and the reason for it.

Dr. Joe Hidegh is originally from Canada, where he graduated from The University of Calgary in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science. Joe moved to Australia shortly after to complete his studies at the University of Queensland where, in 2006, he obtained a Bachelor of Dental Science.
Joe has worked with Practices in both the Sunshine and Gold Coast but has recently settled in Brisbane joining us here at Face Value Dental in July of this year.
Joe practices all aspects of general dentistry but particularly enjoys Cosmetic Dentistry. Joe continues to update and advance his skills and knowledge in restorative Dentistry so that he can offer the latest technologies to his patients. As a former National level, competitive swimmer, Joe still enjoys all water sports and remains very active in Australia’s great outdoors!
