Practice Philosophy
Dr Shakenovsky’s practice is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to patients with dentoalveolar surgery, surgical placement of implants, bone grafting, sinus lifts and jaw pathology, cases which have been referred by their general dentist.
This practice focuses on flapless technique and mini incisions resulting in reduction of post operative swelling, pain and maximal preservation of bone which is critical for successful dental implant surgery.
Treating difficult cases in a friendly and comfortable environment.

Dr Brian Shakenovsky is a highly qualified specialist oral and maxillofacial surgeon with an M. Dent (MaxFac) as well as a F.F.D Max Fac through the College of Medicine South Africa.
Dr Shakenovsky has worked as a senior consultant oral surgeon in South Africa and Israel prior to emigrating to Australia in 1998.
Dr Shakenovsky has published a number of articles in local and international maxillofacial dental journals and presented papers at various conferences both internationally and domestically.
Dr Brian Shakenovsky has been placing dental implants since 1987 and has placed in excess of 3000 dental implants.
Brian is married with 4 children and enjoys playing golf, walking, and reading.
