Juanita’s main concern of her smile was the overall “staining of her teeth, and her “crooked smile”. She has been going to a dentist for her regular check-up appointments, however has now said that she is a lot more educated about the importance of good oral hygiene and how to keep maintaining them in a healthy condition.
Treatment Provided
Digital Panoramic Radiograph
On initial consultation a Digital Panoramic X-ray was taken. This enables dentists and their patients to get a complete, detailed picture of what treatment is required.
Treatment of gingivitis
Juantia had no tooth decay present however, she presented with severe gingivitis.
Deep scaling and curettage of all four quadrants of the mouth, along with Ozone treatment to help getting her gums to a healthy condition.
Preventative care (Dental prophylaxis)
Deep scaling and polishing to remove the buildup of heavy plaque (also known as calculus and tartar) and staining on Juantia’s teeth, helping prevent cavities and gum disease.
Orthodontics
Orthodontic treatment with elastics to align teeth to a “straighter smile”.
Odontoplasty
To re-contour her natural teeth to create a more balanced/aesthetic smile.
Teeth Whitening
ZOOM whitening process for whiter teeth, Juanita was given custom made home whitening trays in order for her to maintain her new whiter smile.

John’s main concern was his multi-coloured crooked teeth with dark staining all around his mouth. He also had bleeding gums and missing teeth that were causing him great discomfort.
Treatment Provided
Photos and Radiographic records
Photos and radiographic records were taken to allow accurate assessment of the existing dentition (development and arrangement of teeth in his mouth) and to give John a visual view of the treatment needed.
Preventative care (Dental prophylaxis)
Deep scaling and polishing to remove the buildup of heavy plaque (also known as calculus and tartar) and staining on John’s teeth, helping prevent cavities, further tooth loss and gum disease.
Oral hygiene routine
Cariscreen and caries free rinse program. Custom trays of tooth mousse were created for home use, which will help prevent tooth decay (that can lead to cavities, pain, tooth loss and infection) and minimise intrinsic staining (white specs on teeth).
White fillings
To rejuvenate his teeth, broken amalgam fillings were replaced with white fillings for a more natural, comfortable smile. Porcelain onlays were created for a more functional, longer lasting and aesthetic appearance.
Crown and bridge work
John was given 4 new crowns and a 3 unit bridge (inlay/onlay) inserted. The material used has a zirconia framework which greatly increases the strength whilst also providing optimum aesthetics. The dental bridge was used to replace missing teeth and was fixed into John’s mouth via adjoining crowns. Crowns were used to cover and protect John’s worn or broken down individual teeth. A custom shade is taken of the teeth to allow the crowns and bridges to be matched creating a natural looking smile.
Teeth whitening
BriteSmile whitening of John’s teeth to perfectly match the custom crown and bridge work performed. Custom trays were also made to give John a take home whitening maintenance program to help sustain his whiter smile.
