Anette was unhappy with the dark stains and decay visible
on her front teeth. A childhood accident left her front tooth
chipped and crooked. She yearns for a straight bright white
“Demi Moore” smile.
Treatment Provided
Photos and Radiographic records
Photos and radiographic records were taken to allow
accurate assessment of the existing dentition
(development and arrangement of teeth in her mouth)
and to give Anette a visual view of the treatment needed.
Preventative care (Dental prophylaxis)
Deep scaling and polishing to remove the buildup of heavy
plaque (also known as calculus and tartar) and staining on
Anette’s teeth, helping prevent cavities and gum disease.
Oral hygiene routine
Cariscreen and caries free rinse program. Custom trays of GC
tooth mousse were created for home use, which will help
prevent tooth decay (that can lead to cavities, pain, tooth loss
and infection) and minimise intrinsic staining (white specs on
teeth).
White fillings
To rejuvenate his teeth, broken amalgam fillings were replaced with white fillings for a more
natural, comfortable smile.
Aesthetic Recontouring
Reshaping the teeth by adding white filling material and gently discing teeth.
Teeth Whitening
BriteSmile whitening system was used to whiten Anette’s teeth. Custom trays were also made to
give Anette a whitening maintenance program to help sustain her whiter smile.
RESULTS – A confident pearly white smile that Demi Moore would be jealous of.

With no dentist in the town where he lives, Neil’s last
visit to a dentist was over 8 years ago.
Neil has never been happy with his teeth. “I don’t like
to show my teeth when I smile”, he was also
concerned about his missing teeth, and the staining.
Neil presented with missing teeth in both upper and
lower arches, broken and decayed teeth and roots,
gingivitis, and 2 abcesses. He also exhibited heavily
worn and stained teeth due to his previous years as
a smoker.
Treatment Provided
Digital Panoramic Radiograph
On initial consultation a Digital Panoramic X-ray was taken.
This enables dentists and their patients to get a complete,
detailed picture of what treatment is required.
Root Canal Therapy
Root Canal Therapy was completed on abscessed teeth to
remove pain and infection.
Crowns
Fabrication of Zirconia crowns along with carbonfibre posts
were placed to strengthen the root filled teeth.
Restoration
Tooth coloured restorations to rebuild his decayed and chipped teeth.
Gum lifts
Performed in upper arch to give a healthier even look to his smile providing a more symmetrical
gum line.
Dentures
Partial upper and lower immediate dentures fabricated to replace missing posterior teeth, allowing
Neil to eat more effectively.

Teeth whitening
All other remaining teeth in the lower arch and upper arch were whitened with ZOOM whitening
using “Power start swabs” (which improve the whitening effect and reduce sensitivity).
RESULTS – Neil can now enjoy food using his repaired and
stronger teeth
